There was a solar eclipse a few days ago, on June 10, 2021, to be precise. It happened at sunrise, and we could only witness it as a partial solar eclipse, partially obscured by the clouds.

Yet, that allowed me to photograph the eclipse without using any special filter. I do not own any ND filters of any kind, and the solar filter I have did not do me any good.

Here are a few images:

  1. Hello Alina, very impressive photographs. We in Europe had no chance to see the sun eclipse. By the way, since yesterday I´m presenting my first pic at finest of America. It is part of my exhibition in Munich called “La Serenissima”.
    Stay healthy and greetings. Klaus

    1. Thank you so much! I love dramatic sunrises (and sunsets, too), but this time, it kinda obscured the eclipse. Oh, well…. Thanks again very much!
