There was a solar eclipse a few days ago, on June 10, 2021, to be precise. It happened at sunrise, and we could only witness it as a partial solar eclipse, partially obscured by the clouds.
Yet, that allowed me to photograph the eclipse without using any special filter. I do not own any ND filters of any kind, and the solar filter I have did not do me any good.

Hello Alina, very impressive photographs. We in Europe had no chance to see the sun eclipse. By the way, since yesterday I´m presenting my first pic at finest of America. It is part of my exhibition in Munich called “La Serenissima”.
Stay healthy and greetings. Klaus

Great capture, despite the cloud cover.

Thank you so much! I love dramatic sunrises (and sunsets, too), but this time, it kinda obscured the eclipse. Oh, well…. Thanks again very much!
