On Storms, Rainbows, and Other Weather Photography
“Bad weather makes for good photography.” Ansel Adams
Sometimes it seems that weather mimics the ups and downs of our lives. Lately, we’ve had quite some stormy weather here, in the New York City area, stormy weather sometimes followed by the magical, momentary apparition of rainbows.

And yet, rainbows are not meant to last forever. They’re glimpses of hope, showing us the colors of the visible light, perhaps the possibilities that could be.
But what comes after the rainbow disappear?
That’s to be seen….
Until then, here are a few images of the latest storm and double rainbow over the NYC skyline.

As always, thanks for stopping by!
