It’s time again to look back and forward, pay tribute to the year that was and dare hope that the new year will be a better one yet. My 2023 has been different in so many ways. It has brought surprising changes and, in a strange way, offered me the opportunity to rethink my journey through life thus far.

Looking back at the year that was, through the vantage point of this very blog, here are some of the most popular posts thus far:

  1. Hope you enjoy the festive season, Alina. For all that’s happening in the world today, floods, famine, war and other conflicts, we have to be grateful for the little things that bring up joy. I’m looking forward to a better year in 2024.

Are you surrounded by heavy snowfalls? If so, keep indoors and warm. Hard to judge from the YouTubes I’ve been watching.

    1. Thank you, Vicki. Yes, you are right. The little things make a difference each and every day. I’m grateful and count my blessings. I so do enjoy these conversations that we have. They always make my day 🙂

I’m looking forward to a relatively quiet holiday season. A cold one, but hopefully without snow. Hopefully it will stay that way.

Wishing you, too, relaxing holidays and a wonderful and better 2024!
Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful photographs!

  2. It’s been a transformative year for sure, lots of good changes and other ones that can’t be judged yet. It’s sort of a turning point in many respects that can be good and bad. I hope 2024 has some answers to offer
