Zombie Opera: A Sneak Preview

Sometimes, the most interesting events and happenings take place right in our backyard, in our neighborhood; therefore, we can always use our photography for good, to spread the word and help promote those events and the individuals who make them possible–creatives, performers, organizers, hosts and hostesses, and so forth.

Strolling through my neighborhood, I found out about Zombie Opera, the upcoming show taking place in Hamilton Square Park, Jersey City, New Jersey, on Saturday, October 29, 2022, and just in time for Halloween.

A wonderful preview of the upcoming Zombie Opera hosted by a good JC neighbor offering amazing performances by Molly Dunn, soprano, and Kofi Hayford, bass, Follow @zombieopera and @jclawndogs on Instagram for more details.

A good Jersey City neighbor, @jclawndogs, not only used their fence to display posters with information about the upcoming show but also hosted a sneak-preview Zombie Opera mini-show…right on their steps.

Here are a few images from that wonderful opera-on-JC-streets event:

It was such a treat to watch Jersey City’s own Molly Dunn and Brooklyn’s Kofi Hayford, perform and delight us with tunes from La Traviata, La Boheme, and The Phantom of the Opera.

A good neighbor, @jclawndogs. A must-follow on Instagram.

To find out more, please visit Zombie Opera online and/or follow them on Instagram @zombieopera. If you’re in the neighborhood, in Jersey City, on October 29, do stop by Hamilton Square Park and check out the event.
