Things to do and photograph this Pride Month

It’s June 2019, and that means it’s Pride Month, not only that but this year we celebrate 50 years of Pride. So, Happy Pride!

Since this is, still, a photography blog, here are a couple of questions:

As one who has photographed Pride and covered the LGBTQ+ community over the years, here are a few ideas:

  • photograph Pride events, especially during the month of June; if you’re in Europe, you might be able to find EuroPride events throughout the summer; in Germany, for example, there’s Christopher Street Day, CSD, named after Christopher Street in Manhattan, where the Stonewall Inn is, where the riots started fifty years ago; CSD is celebrated throughout the summer in Germany; I hear that Koln (Cologne)…
