2020 New Year’s Resolutions
Now that the holidays are over, the glitter swept away and quietly discarded, and the fireworks smoke dispersed in the night’s air, we find ourselves “back to life, back to reality.”

The reality is that it’s the year 2020. And no matter how special this particular year might be, like any other year, it begins with resolutions. I’ve written about New Year’s resolutions in the past, and believe that they provide us with the promise of new (more hopeful) beginnings. In a way, they offer us a renewed one-year lease on life and on what we can do with our life–a chance to map out the year ahead of us, to make plans or revisit goals as well as the path we take to reach those goals.

We all have personal goals, maybe more general life goals, professional goals, and secret wishes for this, and every, new year. And so, I’d like to share some of my goals and 2020 resolutions:
This year, I’d like to find the time to work on a few projects. I’ve been toying with several ideas lately, and believe that some of them will turn into completed projects by year’s end. As a creative, I believe in the importance of giving oneself self-assignments, and personal projects, in order to be able to think outside the box, find or refine an artist’s voice, explore and experiment…thus, learn. And, by the way, writing this very blog not only gives me new ideas but also offers proof that I can keep at least one of my resolutions 🙂 Thank you all for visiting and reading my blog, and sharing your thoughts and comments. I appreciate it!

So, feel free to share your 2020 resolutions. Or, if you have a (photography-related) question for yours truly, I’d like to hear from you.
Hope we keep some of our most important New Year’s resolutions and wish you all a very Happy New Year!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
