Looking Back at My 2018
As the year draws to an end, I’d like to share with you a few of what I consider my highlights of this year.
Photographing the blood supermoon lunar eclipse:
Ron B at a 2018 pre-Halloween and bday No Boundaries show, poses with the June print issue of A&U Magazine—America’s Magazine opened to a feature story about the activist and actor.
Going to NYC Pride 2018 with people I look up to, and also taking a few snapshots
Attending the premier of the movie After Louie, in New York City. Larry Kramer was in the audience.
Covering the LGBTQ+ Community and Today’s Political Landscape Symposium for Harlem Yes in Harlem, NY
Having my artwork part of the grand opening show of La Vie Galerie
Being a frequent panelist on Ron B’s show, No Boundaries Up Close and Personal
Getting together with friends and loved ones, and cheering friends as they cross the finish line at Braking AIDS Housing Works event:
The Workmen’s Circle winter benefit honors playwright Tony Kushner (Angels in America) with the Activism and Jewish Culture Award.
Attending The AIDS Activist Project book event at Housing Works bookstore. Interviewing Bill Bytsura, the photographer and author, having my own copy of the book signed by the author, and also having the opportunity to cover the book and the event. What an honor and a humbling experience.

Remembering friends and loved ones, cherishing every moment with those who’re still here, at least for now….
Hope your year was a nice one.
