Covering the Workmen’s Circle winter benefit honoring Tony Kushner
The Workmen’s Circle winter benefit honors playwright Tony Kushner (Angels in America) with the Activism and Jewish Culture Award.
Attending The AIDS Activist Project book event at Housing Works bookstore. Interviewing Bill Bytsura, the photographer and author, having my own copy of the book signed by the author, and also having the opportunity to cover the book and the event. What an honor and a humbling experience.
Being invited to be part of a panel discussion, to talk about the arts, HIV and AIDS at the opening of Kurt Weston‘s show, Remember: An AIDS Retrospective
