“The party’s over.”
The choreographer, played by Richard Gere, in And the Band Played On
Today is Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) and that’s reason to celebrate, especially if one finds themselves in New Orleans. Yet, this year’s celebrations feel different, like a last hurray of sorts before the party (perhaps a metaphor for liberties and rights as we know them) is over.
The thought doesn’t seem too far fetched nowadays, especially with everything that’s been going on so far this year.

The question that comes to mind is: will we allow it to be over?
Laissez les bons temps rouler!
Let the good times roll (while they still can).

Have safe celebrations and, as always, thanks for stopping by,
