It’s the holiday season yet again. We can’t really escape it. But have you ever wondered about the meaning and the symbolism of the holiday season? What would be a visual interpretation of that meaning and symbolism?

I believe that the holidays are about “coming home,” reconnecting with family and friends, with traditions, as well as breaking bread with new individuals:
The season is a celebration of the year that was, with all its accomplishes and loses. Hopefully we can allow ourselves a peaceful moment to reflect on what was so that we’re able to face the unknown the future brings:
In that sense, the holiday season is a bridge, hopefully paved with hope, between the past and the future:
Because sometimes, learning from our past prepares us for the future, for taking the first steps on the road ahead:
