June is Pride Month. Here are a few moments in history the history of Pride:

June 28, 1969 – the Stonewall Riots that started the Gay Revolution. New York City, NY.

Notable individuals and names to remember: Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera.

The First Pride was a March, the following year.

Gilbert Baker (1951 – 2017) created the Rainbow Flag, in 1978. The first rainbow flags were raised at the San Francisco Pride in 1978.
