“There’s a very fine line between triumph and disaster. That line is hope.”
Hope: A Story of Triumph, by Joel Rothschild
The idea of hope has been on my mind lately. Can hope survive, especially when its very existence seems unimaginable, anymore? And if it does survive, will hope be strong enough to help us survive? Are we going to follow that “very fine line” or are we going to sidestep? Into disaster or triumph?
And speaking of hope, rainbows have long been considered symbols of hope, or perhaps momentary signs that hope still exists and is strong enough to illuminate the darkest of storms. After all, as the saying goes (if conditions are just right), “after every storm comes a rainbow.”
I wish you all rainbows and hope, and a wonderful new week.
As always, thanks for stopping by,
