Returning as a special guest on MNN’s award-winning show, and other happenings

Last month I returned to the Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN), at its new Hudson Yards location, as a guest on No Boundaries Up Close and Personal, an award-winning show hosted by celebrity host, SAG-AFTRA actor, and LGBTQIA activist, Ron B.

And so, I found myself back in the saddle, or rather, in the seat, yet again, in front of cameras (for a change), answering (rather asking) questions, and talking with Ron B. about creative work, the importance of art as activism, of learning from history, especially HIV and AIDS history, and also about the fight for equal rights, and so much more.

It’s always an amazing experience being interviewed by Ron B., and I’m always grateful for it. Ron B. makes the person in the interviewee’s seat feel at ease. Hence, the conversation becomes a chat between friends, through which we share stories, experiences, and lessons learned.

I also want to give a shout out to the behind-the-scenes team who makes it all happen!

Also, here are a few shots I snapped before and after the show, while on the set of No Boundaries:

Many thanks to Ron B. for taking the time to chat with me. I’m always humbled to be invited on her show.

Also, show aired on MNN Culture Channel and on Spectrum TV 67 this past weekend. As of right now, there’s no permanent link to the show, as far as I’m aware, but I’ll share it with you as soon as it becomes available.

Until then, and because tomorrow is June 5, Long-Term HIV and AIDS Survivors Day, here’s a link to some of my HIV & AIDS inspired photography. For more, please visit my Portfolio.

As always, thanks for stopping by,

Alina Oswald

Additional Notes:

The No Boundaries show airs on Spectrum TV each Wednesday evening (at 7 pm EST).

Reruns of No Boundaries (with yours truly as a guest on the show) also aired this month of June, Pride Month, on Sunday morning at11 am EST, twice so far. I’m happy and honored.
