Did you know that May is National Photography Month? Yes, it is.
The question is: do you have any plans? Are you going to work on a special photo project?
Here are a few ideas:

1.Focus on personal photography projects, such as self-portraiture, experimental photography, abstracts, and so on.
2. Treat yourself to new gear, especially if you do need that new gear. Perhaps a new lens, or backdrop, or, dare I say, a camera body.
3. Experiment with photographing every day this month, with a goal in mind. Perhaps a longer visual story, a photo essay, and more. Think…a picture a day keeps the stress away.
4. Focus on post-production workflow, including selecting photos to be included in a portfolio. Learn something new in Photoshop or Lightroom.
5. Dust off old photographs. Try your hand at image restoration. Design a family album. Your family and loved ones might enjoy it.
So, this National Photography Month, I plan on working on a few personal projects that have been on my mind for far too long.
How about you?
