NYC Art Shows and Book Launches

It’s been a busy month so far! This March, many art venues celebrate International Women’s History Month by hosting events featuring women artists and showcasing their work. If you happen to be in the New York City area, here are a few art happenings worth checking out:

1.

I AM, “a Women’s Month cross-discipline and multi-media exhibition and showcase celebrating and honoring women-identifying creatives who grace the distinguished and dynamic 65+ realm,” opens today, March 7, at Revelation Gallery 224 Waverly Place, in NYC.

Presented by the International Women Artists Salon, I AM runs March 7 – March 31. Gallery Hours Mon -Fri, 11 am – 3 pm or by appointment.

Also, this Saturday, March 11, Women Photograph celebrates the launch of their new book, What We See, at the International Center of Photography, in NYC, as well as online.

No matter where we are, we can always help support and empower women from all walks of life and from around the world; and not only during International Women’s History Month. It’s just the right thing to do.
