A couple of nights ago I finally made it to the waterfront, hoping to photograph the Water’s Soul, only to find out that the park surrounding the sculpture closes at night. Hence, I couldn’t get too close, but did capture a few images.

Technical Notes:
I captured the above Water’s Soul images with my 24-200mm Nikon Z lens. The lens performs pretty nicely in low-light conditions, yet it could be a bit faster when photographing in really low-light conditions and/or when having to capture the moment, freeze action. I’ve noticed a similar issue when photographing events, such as award-winning activist Wolfgang Busch at the 2021 A-List awards. Is this a deal-breaker? No, not at all! I still believe that the Nikon Z 24-200mm is a great grab-and-go lens. That said, I do have my eye on upcoming Nikon Z lenses.
Until then and as always, thanks for stopping by.
