Over the years I’ve had the chance to interview and photograph amazing individuals, including writers and authors, award-winning authors, too. As photographers, as visual storytellers ourselves, we can learn a lot from them about painting with words and the art of storytelling itself.
Here are a few examples of author interviews as well as book reviews.
Hope you enjoy the read and, as always, thank you for stopping by!
Throwing in with History: An Interview and photo shoot with Avram Finkelstein about his latest book, After Silence- A History of AIDS Through Its Images originally published in A&U Magazine–America’s AIDS Magazine
NOTE: I met author Hans M. Hirschi by pure chance. I had gotten in touch with him to request a review copy of one of his books, The Fallen Angels of Karnataka, to review for A&U Magazine. Then the author happened to be in town and I got to meet him in person when attending a book event at The Center in New York City. And I’ve been a fan ever since! If you’re looking for an amazing, awe-inspiring read, check out some of his books. Also, check out his YouTube channel to listen to the author, himself, as he reads excerpts from his books, and, thus, provide a much-needed escape from this never-ending COVID (quasi) lockdown.
Also, check out my interview with award-winning author T.J. Banks about her latest book, Abys Among Us as well as my interview with Shadow, the author of The Shadow Diaries (told by Shadow, the greyador rescue dog to author Joseph Pittman)
