Summer Highlights

My Summer (so far)

Summer is my favorite season, but this summer season has been different, for many reasons. For now let’s look at the brighter side:

photographed Brooklyn Pride, the only twilight Pride in the city

Attended the launch party of What Is 21st Century Liberation broasheet, event hosted by Visual AIDS

had two cover stories, text and images, published in A&U Magazine: activists Avram Finkelstein for the June 2019 issue and Victoria Noe for July 2019 issue of A&U

visited lots of museums and checked out Pride-related art exhibitions

went to panel discussions about AIDS, activism and related art in public spaces:

got together with friends and watched (and photographed) the Fourth of July fireworks

Summer is far from over, so will have to wait and see what the next two months are going to bring.

Happy Summer! and, as always, thanks for stopping by,

Alina Oswald
