Working as a team, cheering for friends while attending and covering Braking AIDS Ride 2018 closing ceremony in New York City
I’ve always been a fan of Freddy Mercury and Queen, can’t help it. And so, when pondering on this past weekend, “I want to ride my bicycle” and “Friends will be friends” come to mind. I haven’t been on a bike in a thousand years, but the other day, together with my much better half, and a few friends, we headed into the City to cheer for a friend as he crossed the finished line, after riding more than three hundred miles in three days this past weekend, as part of Braking AIDS Ride 2018.
Here are a few images and video from the Braking AIDS Ride 2018 closing ceremony:
Here are a couple of videos capturing Braking AIDS 2018 riders crossing the finish line, and then gathering for the closing ceremony at General Grant’s Memorial, footage by my better half:

And one candid pic snapped by my better half right after the closing ceremony, as we were all heading across the street, to Riverside Church, to continue celebrating:
Thank you all very much, and special thanks to our friends. Congrats MJ on finishing the ride!
And, as always, thank you for stopping by,
