Photographing Spring

Photographing Spring

Spring is finally here! So, what does spring mean to us and how do we capture it in our images?

Some of us may associate spring with renewal, rebirth, longer days and warmer temps, a fresh start, nature coming back to life, buds and flowers, green making its way through the blanket of snow.

I’m not much into photographing flowers, and I wouldn’t really spend money on flowers (better save it to buy that lens that I’ve been eyeing for a while now). That said, I do love tulips. So, once in a while I do photograph tulips.

Here’s a #tbt image, a pinhole image of a bed of tulips I captured several years ago:

Here are two more #tbt images of #tulips captured with a Lensbaby composer:

I’ve also always liked #snowdrops. They represent the first signs of spring.

Here are also a few more pictures of flowers taken with my iPhone:

As always, thanks for stopping by.

    1. Thanks so much! Well, it’s snowing here, too, today. It’s winter wonderland everywhere these days, or so it seems. lol!
